If 1985 was the year Reebok got the attention of the gals with the Freestyle, the summer of 1986 was the prime time for guys wearing the Phase I tennis sneaker. I wore my first pair until they wore out, but my second pair came apart prematurely. The third pair (a reissue) didn't have problems.
In addition to white, medium blue, and dark blue, Reebok made the Phase I in a version with mesh sides.
In 2005, Reebok made a version in brown colors with a bit of red trim.
