The Montgomery Ward shopper of 1922 had the exact same two decisions. These all-purpose sneakers were recommended for "house wear, tennis, gymnasium, and outings." There were sizes available for nearly every customer.
Pricing was as follows (plus 8¢ postage per pair):
TYPE | High-top | Low-top |
MEN'S | 98¢ | 89¢ |
WOMEN'S | 93¢ white/95¢ black | 79¢ |
BOYS AND GIRLS | 85¢ small/89¢ large | 73¢ small/79¢ large |
LITTLE KIDS | No high-tops for little kids | 65¢ |
