XC
An abbreviation sometimes seen for cross-country running.
 
Xerox
The company that brought the first modern copying machines to market, named from the Greek "xerography" (dry writing). The phrase "the highest technology that they use is the Xerox®" is sometimes used among participants in the sneaker industry to disparage rivals.
